The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) were looking for a new solution to manage access of the Lifeboat crews at Sennen Cove Lifeboat station in Cornwall. The solution, recommended by the installation company, South West Garage Doors, was to install a BFT Automation Maxima Ultra 36 barrier in stainless steel finish.

Tesco Mobile Head Office, in Slough were looking for a solution to manage their access control as the front reception area of the building is shared access for all of the building occupants. Tesco needed to control the flow of staff and visitors entering and exiting their offices. Tesco required a solution that allowed staff and guests easy access beyond the reception area but prevented other people from accessing the area without authorisation.

Octaga Security Services is one of the leading security and risk management companies in the UK. Based in Hereford, they were founded in 2001 and currently provide a range of physical security and technical systems for customers across the UK. Octaga needed to update the external security at their headquarters. They had a barrier in place which controlled access for staff vehicles however this did not prevent pedestrian access. In addition, the existing barrier had been in place for many years and was no longer fit for purpose.
